Lower Egypt was at the broad of the delta, and Upper Egypt was the long main chanal of the river. Soon though Ancient Egypt had to become united, ancient Egypt needed and organized government it become increasingly important when farming and trade increased. Apparently only one Pharaoh united the Kingdoms. That Pharaoh was King Narmer he was King of upper Egypt he then conquered lower Egypt and married one of lower Egypt's princess which caused Egypt to be unified.

Leadership played a big role in the uniting of the two Kingdoms.

Queen Hatshepsut is known for being an inspiring lady, becoming one of the first women to be a pharaoh in ancient Egypt. Another inspiring women is Elizabeth I. Queen Hatshepsut didn't have as a hard life as Queen Elizabeth I did. One of Elizabeth I best accomplishments didn't really have to do with the Kingdom or making a law it was the fact that she survived being held hostage in the London Tower, by her step-sister Mary (A.K.A Bloody Mary) thats quite different them Queen Hastshepsuts major developments and accomplishment. Queen Hatshepsut was a powerful and intelligent leader. She was a cunning and gifted. Queen Elizabeth I was also a very powerful and intelligent leader, in lots of ways there leadership style was the same. However there was some difference's in the leadership style. Queen Hatshepsut didn't like involving Egypt in wars so instead of going to wars she created a trade relationships with many foreign countries, Elizabeth I on the other hand, began challenging Spain just shortly after she took the throne, Queen Elizabeth I was not afraid to start a war.
